One of Clare’s 2013 All Ireland winners feels the current squad have made positive progress during the 2021 campaign.
Prior to last weekend’s loss to Cork, Clare had won five of their previous six games in league and championship with that defeat coming in controversial circumstances against Tipperary in the Munster semi final.
2021 also saw senior championship debuts for the likes of Mark Rodgers and Paidà Fitzpatrick, while Cian Galvin and Paddy Donnellan were among those who featured for the first time at adult level during the league.
