Russell Hoping To Create Avenue To Quarter-Finals Of Munster Junior Cup

Avenue United are bidding to seal their spot in the quarter-finals of the Munster Junior Cup this afternoon.

David Russell’s side host Limerick side Mungret in Roslevan, with the visitors having overcome Newmarket Celtic in the previous round.

Avenue are unbeaten so far in all competitions this year, and have scored 37 goals in their six league games to date.

Kickoff this afternoon is at 2pm

Elsewhere, Newmarket Celtic are in action in the opening round of the MFA Champions Trophy this afternoon.

They go to Cove Park in Limerick to face Broadford FC from 2pm.
