Result Of Review Into Pedestrian Measures In Ennis Town Centre In Coming Weeks

The findings of a review into pedestrianisation measures in Ennis Town Centre are expected to made clear within the next fortnight.

The Ennis Mobility plan, which has been put in place to safeguard the public during the pandemic has been subject to regular reviews, resulting in the introduction of a number of aspects such as directional signage, retractable bollards, and 100 extra car parking spaces the Cloister – GAA Car park.

The current review being carried out by the local authority is examining the change in traffic flow and pedestrian activity at various times throughout the day, now that the summer tourist season has ended and schools have re-opened.
