Clare’s Liaison Sergeant for Domestic Abuse says the recommencement for Operation Faoiseamh is providing a second chance for victims to reach out.
The initiative is now underway again to help victims of domestic violence in the run-up to Christmas having first been brought in during lockdowns to reach out to those who are vulnerable.
Meetings of Clare’s Joint Policing Committee earlier this year were told how domestic offences continued to increase in this county throughout 2021.
