Plenty Clare Interest In Barbarians Thomond Park Double Header

There will be plenty Clare interest in today’s double header at Thomond Park as the men and women of the province take on the Barbarians.

Doora Barefield’s Ethan Coughlan starts at scrum half for the men’s side while fellow parishioner Tony Butler is among the replacements for the 4.30pm kickoff.

There are five Clare women who are part of the opening game of the day in Limerick, with Aoife Corey, Eilish Cahill, Chisom Ugwueru, Alana McInerney and Clodagh O’Halloran all involved.

The women’s showdown with the Barbarian selection is underway from 2pm
