Households in Clare are being urged to make an extra effort to recycle their Christmas waste.
Traditionally, there’s a build up of plastic, paper and glass materials at homes across the festive season, most of which can be recycled.
The Environment Section of Clare County Council is reminding people that recycling facilities are available at Ballyduff Beg, Lisdeen, Shannon, Scarriff and Ennis and opening times are available on the council website.
