Roads in Ennis town centre may be opened again for school traffic under new measures being considered by Clare County Council.

The news comes in light of increasing business pressure on pedestrianisation in the town, with many traders opposed to the current mobility plan which was introduced on an emergency basis in response to the onset of COVID-19.

A review of the plan as it stands is underway from the local authority and is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
