Tubber’s Pat O’Connor this week confirmed he was bringing the curtain down on his intercounty hurling career.

He has been part of the senior set-up since 2011, winning an All Ireland and National League medal, along with Munster and All Ireland titles at U-21 level.

Injury forced to him to miss out on the last two intercounty seasons, but he did return to fitness to line out for his club this summer.
