O’Grady Hails Management Impact As Newmarket Celtic Celebrate Historic FAI Junior Cup Glory

One of Newmarket Celtic’s key men feels their previous experience of big occasions was key in capturing the FAI Junior Cup.

Celtic became the first side from the county to win the biggest title in Irish junior soccer, as they held their nerve in a penalty shootout win over Tipperary side St Michael’s.

Harvey Cullinan’s first half penalty was cancelled out soon after the break to see the sides level after extra-time, with Shane Cusack’s save in the shootout leading to Stephen Kelly slotting home the winner with the final kick.
