Clare’s Shane O’Donnell has been named as the Hurler of the Month for May.
The Eire Óg clubman picked up the award for his displays which were central to Clare reaching a first Munster final since 2018.
O’Donnell beat off competition from Cork’s Conor Lehan and Gearoid Hegarty of Limerick for the honour.

The football award went to Brendan Rogers of Derry, Sinead McGoldrick of Dublin won the LGFA award with the camogie award going to Waterford’s Lorraine Bray.
