Clare’s Munster hurling championship hopes have been boosted by the return of Shane O’Donnell to collective training with the squad.

The Eire Óg man was with the squad in Salthill but was not part of the matchday panel as Clare lost out to Henry Shefflin’s outfit by 0-25 to 1-20.

Thoughts will now turn to the Munster championship opener against Tipperary on April 24th, with O’Donnell believed to be in contention to make his seasonal bow on that day.
