O’Dea: It Just Did Not Happen For Us On The Day

Banner Ladies manager JJ O’Dea feels his side were left frustrated by a well organised Ballymacarbry defence, as they just came short in their Munster title bid.

The Waterford side edged a tight contest to claim their first provincial title in 22 years, in what was their 12th final appearance in that period.

The Clare champions trailed by just two points having played against a stiff wind in the opening half, but two missed goal chances soon after the restart proved costly, as they lost out by 0-8 to 0-5.
