Clare minor manager Brian O’Connell is hopeful his side can use the positive mood around Clare hurling at the moment as motivation in tomorrow’s All Ireland playoff.

Having fallen just short on their bid for the Munster title, Clare enter the round robin series for a place in the All Ireland semi-finals when they face Galway in Kenny Park Athenry.

This weekend will see Clare’s minor and senior hurlers along with the junior and senior camogie sides in action, with the camogie juniors and senior hurlers having a double header on Sunday in Cusack Park.
