Eire Óg will take on Ennistymon in the 2022 Clare senior football final.

The Townies moved another step closer to retaining their title with a dominant 1-11 to 0-3 win over Corofin.

It sets up a first ever decider between the two sides, with Eire Óg to contest both the senior football and hurling finals over the next fortnight.

Meanwhile Ennistymon recorded a historic victory over Kilmurry Ibrickane, as a first ever knockout championship penalty shootout went the way of the North Clare men.

Ciaran McMahon’s goal with the last kick of extra-time ensured the game would be decided by the spot-kicks, with sudden-death eventually needed to seperate the sides.
