On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Norianna Kennedy who is a founding member of The Whileaways. Norianna discussed the opportunity she was presented with by music network which challenged her to curate a band to produce a body of music that is set to be presented on an eleven day tour of Ireland this February. She teamed up with renowned musicians Mirella Murray, Donogh Hennessy and Oisín Mac Diarmada and began rehearsing in January for the tour which will take place between the 8th and 20th of February 2023. Norianna spoke about the daunting challenge of working with other musicians she had not previously worked with and described her excitement for their upcoming gig in Glór. Their gig will take place in Glór on Thursday 9th of February at 8pm.
