New Proposal To Harness Economic Boost From North Clare Park And Ride Services

A new proposal will aim to increase visitor footfall in towns and villages near Clare’s most prominent tourist sites.

The system would set a target of 30% of day-trip visitors to council attractions availing of park and ride services in towns and villages along designated routes.

The local authority has confirmed that sustainable transport solutions are being progressed in the North Clare area, specifically for the Cliffs of Moher and Burren Unesco Geopark.
