The Bishop of Killaloe has consecrated a new columbarium in Ennis Cathedral.
Next month the first internment of ashes will take place at the new columbarium which has been built in the Cathedral of Saints Peter & Paul in Ennis.
A columbarium is a place where cremated human remains are interred.
