The newly elected Cathaoirleach of the East Clare Municipal District insists future-proofing the region will be of paramount importance during his term in office.
Former Mayor of Clare, Tony O’Brien was ratified as chair of the Killaloe MD at Friday’s AGM, succeeding party colleague Alan O’Callaghan.
In April , local representatives approved the ‘Killaloe Municipal District Strategy & Work Plan’ setting out 15 priorities for the area, including the progression of greenway and blueway attractions and sustainable housing.
