It is hoped that the development of a new indoor astro turf facility will serve as a hub for all sports in East Clare.
Scariff Rugby Club have recently completed the state of the art project consisting of an indoor 40 by 20 metre 4G pitch , with provisions also made for an external viewing stand for the main club pitch.
The project has been four years in the making for the club, with plans to hire it out as a multipurpose sports facility for other teams in the locality.

Club President Mike Madden says it is a huge source of pride for the group who worked to get the facility in place.
