Nearly 10% Of Exceptional Needs Payments In Clare Last Year Made To Under 25s

Nearly 10 percent of all Exceptional Needs Payments in Clare last year were received by people under 25.

New figures released to the Oireachtas show of the 3,686 payments made in this county under the initiative in 2022, 311 were made to people younger than 25 years of age.

Additional Needs Payments are intended to help meet expenses that a person cannot pay from their weekly income.
