The draw for the semi finals of the Clare Senior Football Championship has pitted the 2014 winners against the 2015 champions.

Cratloe and Miltown are set to do battle at this stage for the second time in the last three seasons with the south east Clare men coming out on top after extra time when they clashed in 2016.

The west Clare outfit were impressive winners over Clondegad in their last eight tie but manager Michael Neylon insists that will count for little in two weeks time.

Meanwhile holders Kilmurry Ibrickane will take on Ennistymon in the other last four tie with these sides last meeting in the championship in 2015.

On that occasion it was the North Clare outfit who came out on top before they lost to eventual champions Miltown at the quarter final stage.

Victory over Eire Óg last weekend saw them into a first ever senior championship semi final and manager Mark Shanahan says that’s a milestone they are delighted to have reached.

The games are set to be played on the weekend of October 13th and 14th.
