Sixmilebridge’s Chloe Morey says the success of the clubs hurlers in recent years is something their camogie counterparts are eager to emulate.
The 1980’s was the golden period for Sixmilebridge camogie, with nine titles in row going back to Garneyside between 1982 and 1990, along with being first Clare team to win a Munster title in 1989.
Since then, the club has struggled to replicate that success, with the 2021 campaign underway this weekend when they take on Truagh-Clonlara in the opening round.
