Clare’s spot in the top tier of the National Camogie League is secure for 2022.

Chloe Morey struck for 1-9 to help Clare see off the challenge of Dublin in their relegation semi final, with the Banner running out 1-17 to 2-11 winners in a tight contest.

A strong closing quarter was key to the win, with Clare leading for the first time in the game just after the final water break.

Clare boss Ger O’Connell says the players felt they had a point to prove.

Meanwhile the draws for the All Ireland series pitted Clare against Galway, Kilkenny and Westmeath in the senior championship, with group games against Roscommon and Kildare to come in the Premier Junior.
