Clare hurling selector James Moran feels the squad are in a strong position to build on a positive campaign this year.
Two games in a week awaits Brian Lohan’s squad in early January, with a game against Tipperary on January 8th before a clash with Davy Fitzgerald’s Waterford a week later in the Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League.
This year saw Clare reach the All Ireland semi-final for just the second time since winning Liam McCarthy in 2013, with the Munster title only slipping away after an epic extra-time battle with Limerick.
