Kilmurry Ibrickane manager Aidan Horse Moloney feels his side will need their biggest performance of the year if they’re to retain the Jack Daly.

The holders booked their spot in a third consecutive decider with victory over Lissycasey, with the West Clare side bidding for a sixth title since 2011.

They’ll face an Eire Óg side bidding to bridge a gap of 15 years since they were last crowned champions, with these sides last meeting at this stage in 2004.

Moloney says while they are glad to reach the showpiece day, they have to be ready to raise their performance to the next level

Meanwhile Clondegad manager Flan Enright admits it is a huge relief to have battled their way to safety in the senior championship.

The Ballynacally men secured their status with victory over Kilrush, having come through a two game series which also saw them relegate Cooraclare to the intermediate ranks.

Enright says while it was disappointing to end up in the relegation scrap, they showed great character to produce strong performances when the need was greatest.
