Clare’s 1992 Munster championship winning captain feels the Banner are well placed to continue their positive start to the National football league.

A nine point victory over Offaly saw Colm Collins’ side off to a strong opening, with a trip to face Cork on the cards this Saturday evening.

It is expected the team for that game will be named later, with former All Star nominee Jamie Malone in contention to start after kicking two points when called from the bench last time out.
