Mary Lou McDonald will be confirmed as Sinn Féin’s new President today.
The Dublin Central TD takes over from Gerry Adams, and will be backed up by new Deputy President Michelle O’Neill, the party’s leader in the North.
Both women were the only candidates for their respective roles.
