One of the standout games in this weekend’s opening round sees old rivals and neighbours Kilmurry Ibrickane and Doonbeg go head to head.
The clubs contested the 1993 and 1999 county finals, with Kilmurry winning the earlier battle, with the Magpies exacting revenge before the turn of the millennium.
Doonbeg come into the game off the back of reaching this year’s Cusack Cup semi-final, with county stalwart David Tubridy set to play a key role.
