Eire Og boss Paul Madden feels his side have benefitted from developing their playing style as a squad over the last few years.

The Townies have a chance to defend the Clare senior football title for the first time in their history when they face Ennistymon in Sunday’s final.

The Ennis side have reached back-to-back finals for the first time since 2007 and have done so without conceding a goal.

Meanwhile Ennistymon’s Brendan Rouine feels it will take the effort of their entire squad to take down the champions.

Along with reaching Sunday’s senior final, this season also saw the club’s intermediate and junior squads reach the knockout stages of their championships.

Rouine says while the panel have had injuries to deal with, it means those who are called on must be ready to add to the cause
