Eire Óg are one step away from reaching a first ever Munster club football final.

The Clare champions edged a dramatic extra time battle with Loughmore-Castleiney, with goals from Aaron Fitzgerald and Mark McInerney in the added period proving crucial as they ran out winners by 2-11 to 0-12.

It sets up a last four showdown with Cork champions St Finbarr’s, with the venue for that game set to be decided by a coin toss later today.
