The Chair of the Clare Tourism Advisory Forum insists a long term plan for tourism in Clare is needed amid Covid-19 restrictions.

Many businesses in the tourism and hospitality sector are struggling due to staff shortages because of Covid-19 out brakes and the current close contact rules.

Sean Lally of Hotel Woodstock in Ennis says a lot of businesses wouldn’t be open today if it wasn’t for the extended government supports.
