Long Queues Being Reported At Ennis’ Walk-in Vaccination Clinic This Lunchtime

Long waiting times are being reported at the walk-in vaccination clinic in Ennis this lunchtime.

Covid-19 booster shots are being made available today at the former Outpatients Department at Ennis General Hospital, with 60-69 year olds permitted to attend between 3pm and 7pm.

There is no appointment for the clinics and only those aged in the appropriate age groups are permitted to attend during these times.

Tomorrow morning, between 8.30am and 1pm, people in any age group can avail of a first or second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

While people aged between 60 and 69 can recieve a Covid booster shot between 3pm and 7pm.

People attending are being advised that five months, or 150 days, should have passed since they received their second vaccine dose before attending for a booster and that they should bring their prior vaccine record card and ID.
