Clare manager Brian Lohan felt there were positives for his side to take from their loss to Wexford in the National Hurling League.

Dee O’Keeffe’s goal in the closing stages eventually settled what had been an even contest, as the Leinster left Cusack Park with a 2-20 to 1-20 victory.

Shane Meehan found the net for his first league goal in the opening half, while Scariff’s Patrick Crotty impressed once more when introduced from the bench.
