Clare senior hurling boss Brian Lohan has shuffled his pack for tomorrow’s All Ireland qualifier first round encounter with Eddie Brennan’s Laois.

Paul Flanagan and Colin Guilfoyle will make their Championship debuts for the Banner, while Aron Shanagher has also been named to start along with Aidan McCarthy, who’s recovered from a broken thumb.

The team in full then sees Feakle’s Eibhear Qulligan start again in goal, with Rory Hayes and Conor Cleary retaining their places in the full back line – Ballyea’s Flanagan comes in ahead of his club mate Jack Browne.

Aidan McCarthy comes in at centre back, with Seadna Morey on his left and Stephen O Halloran on his right.

Tony Kelly and David McInerney continue to operate in the engine room, with David Reidy again lining out at centre forward. Newmarket-On-Fergus’ Colin Guilfoyle and Sixmilebridge’s Cathal Malone operate either side of him.

Aaron Shanagher will spearhead the full forward line, with Shane O Donnell and Ryan Taylor in the corners.

Clare boss Brian Lohan is happy with his panel’s strength in depth as they aim to get their championship campaign back on track.

Eire Og’s David Reidy will once again lead the half forward line tomorrow afternoon.

He says Clare aren’t thinking about anything else beyond the challenge Laois will pose.

That one throws in at 1.15 tomorrow at UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny – Clare FM will have full live commentary of the game, in association with Matt Waters Clare Fruit & Veg Market on the Turnpike Road, and Geraghty’s Spar and Off Licence, Ennis.
