The Banner are preparing for the opening round of this year’s National League, with Westmeath coming to Cusack Park on Sunday afternoon.

Clare have two games under their belt from the Munster Hurling League, with defeat to Tipperary and victory over Waterford.

Lohan says while there is debate around the future of the competitions, he feels they are beneficial for running the rule over his squad in a competitive setting

Throw in on Sunday in Cusack Park is at 2pm with commentary on Clare FM with Matt Waters Clare Fruit and Veg, and Geraghty’s Spar and Off License, Turnpike Ennis
