The manager of the Clare senior hurling squad feels his players were rewarded for their hard work in their victory over Limerick in the Munster championship.

The Banners 1-24 to 2-20 win over the Shannonsiders was a first defeat for John Kiely’s men in the last four championship campaigns.

Peter Duggan struck a first half goal for Clare, with nine different scorers contributing to the case, while Aidan McCarthy top scored with 0-7.
