There was Clare success in the All Ireland Masters Cross Country championships in Dundalk.
Silver medals were secured by Clare’s Masters ladies team of Ann Marie Connellan and Geraldine Vahey from Ennis track and Michelle O’Mahony and Sue Garrahy from Kilmurry Ibrickane/North Clare. Anne Marie connellan, Ennis Track also secured a silver medal individually in her age category.
In the over 65’s men’s race, the Clare team of James Kenny, Tom Mackey, James Sexton from Kilmurry Ibrickane/North Clare and Conor Flynn from Ennis track won inter-club bronze medals.
