Kilkee Based Consultant Dismisses Brexit Related Rural Tourism Fears

A Kilkee based tourism consultant has dismissed fears that Brexit will hit rural destinations the hardest.

The comments follow remarks by the Head of the Irish Hotels Federation, Tim Fenn, who warned that counties like Clare will bare the brunt of a British tourist decline.

Currently, the tourism in Ireland supports 220,000 jobs and it’s feared a fall in Stirling would severely impact on this employment.
