Kildysart’s Emmet McMahon feels the club had paid their dues to be crowned intermediate football champions.
The estuary-based side atoned for their four previous final losses, by overcoming Cooraclare by the minimum in this year’s decider.
They will face Cork opposition in their provincial campaign, with either Kanturk or Bantry set to visit Clare next month.
