Increase In Children Seeking Help From Pieta Before Christmas

Pieta House is urging people to continue to look out for unusual behavior among loved ones as the holiday period begins to wind down.

The mental health charity says headaches, fatigue, confusion, negative thinking and under or over sleeping may be indications that someone is feeling down or depressed.

Pieta has seen an increase of over 40% in the number of under 18’s reaching out for help since 2020.
