Corofin boss Doug Hurley says he was always confident his side had enough in the tank to book their place in the Munster club intermediate football final.

The North Clare men saw off a stern test from Cork champions Newmarket, with a powerful final quarter showing helping them to a 1-14 to 0-11 victory.

It sets up a final showdown with Kerry’s Na Gaeil, with that game due to be played on the weekend of January 15th.
