HSE Midwest Insist Enough Pharmacies Involved In Vaccine Rollout In Clare

The region’s chief pharmacist insists enough community pharmacies in Clare will be involved in the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines.

It comes as concerns have been raised in Dublin that the age group being targeted by the sector, the over 50’s, is too restrictive.

Pharmacists here have begun administering the jab this week, with the bulk of facilities providing the Johnson and Johnson one shot vaccine to patients.
