It is expected that Aidan McCarthy will be fit for Clare ahead of next Sunday’s crucial Munster hurling championship clash with Cork.
The former Young Hurler of the Year nominee missed out on the win over Waterford at the weekend, as a quad strain kept him sidelined.
Manager Brian Lohan confirmed after the game that McCarthy was in contention to return the starting line up for the showdown with the Rebels.
