The man hoping to guide Clondegad to a first ever Clare Senior Football title feels the club has made huge strides in recent years.

1997 saw the Ballyncally men crowned Junior B champions, and since then they’ve climbed the ranks to reach Clare club footballs biggest day for the first time.

Standing in their way of glory are the holders Kilmurry Ibrickane, with the west Clare men bidding for a 14th title.

Meanwhile Kilmurry boss Aidan “Horse” Moloney is warning his side will have to produce their best performance of the year if they’re to put titles back to back.

The holders are unbeaten in the championship to date, and produced a stubborn display to beat Cratloe in extra time in their semi final clash.
