Cork coach Davy Fitzgerald and joint Clare manager Conor Dolan were sent to the stands as the Rebels overcame Clare in the opening round of the National Camogie League.
Heated exchanges on the sideline saw the pair shown red cards by referee John Dermody, with the incident occurring just after Cork had scored a penalty to lead 1-6 to 0-4.
An injury time goal saw the visitors to Ennis leave with a 2-6 to 0-4 win, with a home tie against Kilkenny to come next Saturday for Clare.
