Brian Carson makes his return to the set up having previously spent two years involved from 2018 to 2020, and will take up the role as head coach.

Down native Mark Doran is joining the backroom team as an assistant coach, with the Ulster man currently involved with Ballybay in the Monaghan senior football championship.

Sligo native Gerry McGowan has stepped away as coach after two years involved with the squad.

Limerick native Micheal Cahill is also rejoining the Clare backroom team as the strength and conditioning coach, replacing Rob Mulcahy.

Cahill was previously involved under both Mick O’Dwyer and Micheal McDermott before spending time working in the US.

Selectors Declan Downes and Enda Coughlan are remaining on as part of the management team as Collins prepares for a tenth consecutive season in charge of the squad.
