Government Criticised For Lack Of Action On Post Office Network

The Director of Doonbeg Development is hitting out at the government for failing to follow through on promises for the Post Office network.

A unanimous motion was passed by the Dáil last November to implement community banking at all post offices – a move it was hoped would future-proof the industry.

This has yet to happen, with fear growing once again among postmasters for the network’s sustainability.
