Gavin Pleased By Club Standard As Minors Begin Intercounty Campaign

Clare’s minor football selector says a solid club championship can form the basis of a successful intercounty campaign for the Banner’s young side.

Dermot Coughlan’s charges take on Tipperary in their rearranged Munster minor football quarter final tomorrow evening at Semple Stadium.

It’s the first of a potential three game spell in ten days for Clare, who will have to get through tomorrow and overcome either Limerick or Waterford to set up a Munster final date.
