St Breckan’s manager Donie Garrihy feels their progression to the last four of the Clare senior football championship means a lot to entire club community.

The North Clare outfit made it back to back semi final apperances with an eye catching win over Miltown to set up a showdown with Eire Óg for a place in the showpiece event.

2021 sees the club celebrating 50 years in existence in the Doolin, Lisdoonvarna and Kilshanny area with players from all parts of the parish contributing in this year’s run.

Meanwhile Kilmihil boss Gerry Downes feels his side will learn a lot from their 2021 championship campaign.

The West Clare side saw their challenge just come up short as they pushed champions Kilmurry Ibrickane to the wire before suffering a three point loss.

Downes feels the experience gained will stand to the players in the coming years
