Gardaí Reminding Motorists Of The Dangers Of Suns Glare During Hot Spell

Clare Gardaí are advising motorists to be aware of the dangers of the suns glare during the hot spell.

Drivers are being encouraged to slow down this bank holiday weekend, to wear sunglasses and to position visors suitably to ensure their view of oncoming and rear traffic remains clear.

51% of all road fatalities in Ireland took place between Friday & Sunday last year, with 13 such incidents occurring throughout the month of June.
